"I came to Australia from Vietnam seven years ago and did a Bachelor of Engineering at Tasmania University. I got first class honours and won a scholarship to do my PhD in microelectronics at VU.You need very advanced technology to achieve something in this field, and at VU there are fantastic facilities for microelectronic design and my supervisors were really helpful too.
To research and get new knowledge is great, being involved in the evolution of knowledge. The field is changing and new techniques are coming out all the time. IT helps improve people's lives, so it's satisfying.
